Wind power plant Imereti, Georgia – 100 MW
The Imereti wind power plant, with a planned capacity of 100 MW, is being jointly developed by IVICOM Holding and CONSULTEAM Tbilisi. Development of the project began in 2015, marking one of the earliest large-scale wind initiatives in Georgia’s renewable energy sector.
A major milestone was achieved in June 2024 with the signing of the Implementation Agreement and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), ensuring long-term regulatory and commercial stability for the project. A grid connection agreement has also been signed, confirming technical feasibility and integration into the national power system. The project team is currently focused on structuring and securing the financing package needed for construction.
