We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our dynamic and multicultural team in Zagreb.
The role involves developing process designs, performing engineering calculations, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with project teams to deliver efficient and sustainable process solutions.
You will participate in projects in Croatia and abroad, contributing to innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in process engineering roles
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Solid understanding of thermodynamics and physical properties
- Proficiency with process simulation software
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Good command of English, written and spoken
- Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Category B driving license
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing process designs, including preparation of process descriptions, flow diagrams, heat and material balances, P&IDs, and cause-and-effect matrices
- Collaborating with the Lead Process Engineer on defining approaches to hydraulic, heat, and mass transfer issues, including data collection from the field or clients
- Building appropriate models to solve process problems, analyzing and interpreting results, and recommending effective solutions
- Specifying pressure relief devices in accordance with client requirements and relevant standards
- Sizing process equipment, including pumps, heat exchangers, mass transfer units, and pressure vessels
- Supporting the Mechanical Engineer in developing technical specifications and reviewing drawings
- Preparing documentation for piping, instrumentation, and equipment design conditions
- Participating in hazard analysis (PHA) and assisting in problem resolution
- Reviewing supplier drawings to ensure technical compliance
- Maintaining communication with project teams and clients to share technical information and identify solutions
- Providing support during project execution to ensure quality control and assess the impact of proposed changes
